There are approximately 11.6 million disabled people living in the UK and new research from the LSE has revealed that 1.8 million of them also have an identified housing need. As a result, many are living in unsuitable housing, which in many cases has a dramatic affect on their safety, health, and wellbeing.
Subject to an assessment of a clients individual needs we can plan, manage and deliver a wide range of adaptation works. From simple lever taps, grab and stair rails to structural changes such as ramps and widening of doorways to accommodate wheel chair access. We can even supply and fit an accessible bathroom, wet room or kitchen.
